Astronomy (Full version) in 8 minutes.

It measures your understanding of astrophysics concepts like celestial mechanics, planetary thermodynamics and stellar evolution. It suits learners, curious readers and anyone preparing an astronomy exam who wants a structured self-check.

There are Easy, Intermediate and Expert levels, each with Short (10 questions, 3 minutes) or Full (30 questions, 8 to 10 minutes). Choose Short for a quick overview or Full for a more precise score.

Revise precise space terminology such as planetary rotation, orbital points and lunar phase descriptions. Practise timed multiple-choice reasoning and use the optional Hint when stuck; it gives a method tip and does not lower your score.

It gives correct answers out of total and a band based on share: below 40% Needs work, 40% Intermediate, 60% Advanced, 80% Expert only at Expert level; other levels top at Advanced. Passing needs 6 out of 10 or 18 out of 30.

You can retake as often as you like with Start again; the questions are the same and in the same order, so a retake mostly measures memory. Rankings use only your best attempt: highest score, then shortest time.

Your detailed result, corrections and certificate are visible only to you. Unlocked results also appear in public rankings, showing first name, last-name initial, country, city, score and time, filtered by test, country and city.

A passed test earns a PDF certificate with first and last name, score, date, a certificate number and a QR code that opens a verification page. It is attached to the result email and downloadable from the account.
