It measures knowledge and reasoning on flags, including heraldic flags, weaponry symbols, cultural symbolism, and proportion analysis. It is useful for learners, curious readers, and people preparing an exam on geography or global studies.

There are three levels: Easy, Intermediate and Expert. Each offers Short with 10 questions about 3 minutes, or Full with 30 questions about 8 to 10 minutes. Choose Short for a quick overview, Full for a more precise score; choose your level with the level selector.

Revise flag colour palettes, heraldic symbols and proportional layouts. Practise identifying emblems like shields, weapons and animals from visual clues. Use the optional Hint for a method tip that does not give the answer or lower your score.

The result gives correct answers out of total. Bands are Needs work below 40%, Intermediate from 40%, Advanced from 60%, Expert from 80% only at Expert level. Pass marks are 6/10 or 18/30. A pass earns a PDF certificate with first and last name, score, date, certificate number and a QR code for verification.

Yes, use Start again as often as you want. Questions are the same and in the same order, so a retake mostly measures memory. In the rankings, only your best attempt counts: highest score, then shortest time.

A result is visible only to you. If unlocked, it appears in public rankings with first name, last-name initial, country, city, score and time; country and city are estimated from your IP address. Deleting your personal data can be requested from the data rights page.
