Frequently asked questions
What does this test measure and who is it useful for?
It measures logic and numerical accuracy across geometry, percentage changes and functional analysis. It suits learners, curious readers or anyone revising for a maths exam.
How do the levels and formats work and which should I choose?
Choose “Easy”, “Intermediate” or “Expert” from the level selector, then “Short version” for a quick overview or “Full version” for a more precise score. Short lasts about 5 minutes; Full lasts about 13 to 15 minutes.
How should I prepare for this maths test?
Revise linear equations, fractions, probabilities, Euclidean geometry, perimeters, percentages and graph reading. Practise multi-step equations and reverse percentage calculations. Use each question’s “Hint” for a method tip that never lowers your score.
How is the score calculated and what do the result bands mean?
Each correct answer scores one point. The result shows a band from the share of correct answers: below 40% “Needs work”, from 40% “Intermediate”, from 60% “Advanced”, from 80% “Expert” only at the Expert level.
What score do I need to pass and what certificate do I get?
You pass with at least 6 correct out of 10 on a short version or 18 out of 30 on a full version. A pass earns a PDF certificate with first and last name, score, date, certificate number and a QR code, attached to the result email.
What should I know about retaking the test and the rankings?
Use “Start again” whenever you like; questions stay the same, so retakes mostly measure memory. Rankings show only your best attempt: highest score, then shortest time, with first name, last initial, country, city, score and time.
Who can see my result and how can I delete my data?
Your result is visible only to you. Rankings, if unlocked, show only first name, last initial, country, city, score and time. You can request deletion from the site’s data rights page.
