It measures rapid mental processing of numerical data: multiplication shortcuts, percentages, proportions, geometric areas, and table or graph reading. It benefits learners, curious readers, and people preparing for an exam involving numeracy.

For a quick overview choose a Short version: 10 questions, about 5 minutes. For a more precise score choose a Full version: 30 questions, about 13, 14, or 15 minutes depending on level. Start with Easy, then Intermediate or Expert.

Practise multiplication shortcuts for two-digit numbers and remarkable products, plus reverse percentage and discount calculations. Work without a calculator to match the time limit. For table or graph questions, identify the correct row, column, or axis before calculating.

One point per correct answer. Bands are Needs work below 40%, Intermediate from 40%, Advanced from 60%; Expert from 80% appears only at Expert level. Passing requires 6 of 10 in any Short version or 18 of 30 in any Full version.

After passing, a PDF certificate is attached to the result email and downloadable from your account. It shows your first and last name, score, date, certificate number, and a QR code that opens a verification page.

Use Start again as often as you like; questions stay the same and in the same order, so retakes mostly measure memory. Rankings include only your best attempt by highest score, then shortest time, showing first name and initial, country, city, score and time.

Only you can see your result. Country and city shown in rankings are estimated from your internet connection, never from GPS. You can request deletion of your personal data from the site's data rights page.
