General Knowledge
This assessment covers national team statistics, domestic league trophies and professional gameplay regulations for major British sports. Prove your expertise now.
Once you are done, your score is computed from all of your answers and compared with everyone who has already taken this test. You immediately see which questions you got right, which you missed, and the correct answer to each of them.
Your result unlocks the WhoTest world ranking: you see where you stand among the other General Knowledge candidates, in your country and in your city, and if your score beats the average your certificate is issued live. No account is needed to start.
It is useful for learners, curious readers and anyone preparing an exam on UK sport. It measures general knowledge of football, cricket and rugby, including national team statistics, domestic league trophies and gameplay regulations. It is not an official certification.
Choose Easy, Intermediate or Expert with the level selector. Each level has a Short version for a quick overview and a Full version for a more precise score. One overall time limit counts down as 'Time remaining'.
The test ends by itself and unanswered questions count as wrong. Questions come one at a time, so you must pick an answer to move on, but you can go back, change an answer and bookmark for review.
Revise scoring systems, set pieces, terminology and record lists across football, cricket and rugby. Practise timed mixed-topic questions, and use each 'Hint' as a method tip without expecting the answer.
Your score is the number of correct answers out of the total, one point per correct answer. Bands are 'Needs work' below 40 %, 'Intermediate' from 40 %, 'Advanced' from 60 %, and 'Expert' from 80 %, only at Expert level; other levels top out at Advanced.
A passed test earns a PDF certificate with first and last name, score, date, a certificate number and a QR code that opens a verification page. It is attached to the result email and downloadable from your account, but is not an official exam.
Retake as often as you like with 'Start again'; questions are the same and in the same order, so a retake mostly measures memory. Rankings only count your best attempt, highest score then shortest time.
Whatever your goal, there's a test for you.
