Frequently asked questions

What does this assessment measure and who is it useful for?

It measures your knowledge and reasoning about stress, burnout, sleep, caffeine, panic, work pressure and breaks through one-correct-answer questions. It suits learners, curious readers and people preparing for an exam on this subject; it is not an official qualification.

Which versions and levels are available, and how do I choose?

Use the level selector on this page or the start window to pick Easy, Intermediate or Expert. Each level has a Short version of 10 questions or a Full version of 30 questions. Choose Short for a quick overview, Full for a more precise score.

How should I prepare for the scenario based format here?

Revise how stress, caffeine, alcohol and sleep interact, and how British workplace and healthcare terms are used. Use the optional Hint for method guidance without penalty. Read each question for time cues and environment, then rule out options that ignore them.

How are score bands and the certificate decided?

You get one point per correct answer. Bands: Needs work below 40%, Intermediate from 40%, Advanced from 60%, Expert from 80% only at Expert level; other levels top Advanced. Pass with 6/10 Short or 18/30 Full. Passing earns a PDF certificate with name, score, date, number and QR code.

What should I know about retaking, the rankings and result privacy?

Retakes with 'Start again' use the same questions in the same order, so they mainly measure memory. Unlocked rankings are public and show your first name, last initial, country, city, score and time; only your best attempt counts. Your result is visible only to you.

What happens if I run out of time or leave before finishing?

Each format has one overall countdown labelled 'Time remaining'. If it reaches zero, the test ends and unanswered questions count as wrong. If you leave early, it resumes where you stopped while time remains, with a 7-day emailed link.

How can I request deletion of my personal data?

You can request it from the site's data rights page; it is a request, not an instant button. Until then, your result remains visible only to you.
